My work investigates how women are called into being by the environment in which they grow and how the gaze plays a role in the demand for perfection.  My latest explorations concern the abundance of instructions disseminated to women on a daily basis.  Focusing on woman-to-woman instruction[s] my current works juxtapose factual information with embroidered fictions in an attempt to expose their duplicity.

My work manifests itself as installation; text; performance and artists' books.
