During November and December 2005  the people of Queenborough made their own lanterns in the Landmark workshops. We had all ages get involved from the five year olds at Pipsqueak nurseries to parents at the Borough Hall. Everyone made a unique willow lantern. There were snowmen, santas, angels, trees, stars, and a life size reindeer.

The lantern makers then joined the larger parade on Sunday the 4th of December to walk the length of the Town to the sea. Many parents were very proud of their budding artists, and were keen to see more projects like this happen in 2006.
